In the United States, threats extend beyond active shooters and narcotics, encompassing the looming and viable dangers of Chemical, Biological Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) incidents. Primary and secondary screeners play a critical role in preventing radiological terrorism. The course is specifically designed to enhance radiation knowledge, cultivate expertise in handling radiation detection equipment, and identify any capability gaps. Screeners will also be educated on how to optimize personnel deployment for the safe and effective security of events, all while adhering to relevant laws and regulations associated with radiation. This training is essential; in addressing and mitigation the risks posed by CBRNE threats within the United State.
